Ellen – Dental Hygienist
I have been a part of Kennedy Dental Group, LLC since 2017. I am the oldest child in my family and have two sisters. I was born in Kodiak but grew up in Anchorage. I am a graduate of Dimond High School and received my Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from the University of Alaska in Anchorage. Being part of the family that makes up this practice is something I really enjoy. I really value the trust-based relationships that we build with our patients. Those relationships allow me to educate our patients about the treatments they need to achieve optimal oral health. When I’m not in the office, you can find me spending time outdoors, whether it’s fishing, hiking, skiing or hunting, to name a few.

Lindsey – Dental Hygienist
My name is Lindsey, and I am a dental assistant and a dental hygienist. I primarily work as a dental hygienist with a focus on prevention but do enjoy assisting the dentist now and then. Since I have assisted for many dental procedures including crown preparation and root canals, I can clearly explain those procedures to my dental hygiene patients. I love dentistry and helping people improve their health and love themselves through their smile.In my spare time, you will find me with friends and family or outdoors, as I enjoy jogging and skiing. My goal is to treat patients in the same way I would want to be treated myself. I have been a dental hygienist for over ten years and will continue to learn how to better treat people through experience and continuing education. I am happy to be a part of Kennedy Dental Group, LLC and I look forward to cleaning your teeth!

Shari – Dental Assistant
I have been dental assisting since 2009 after graduating from Northwest School of Dental Arts with a certification in Fundamentals of Dental Assisting. I grew up in Idaho. I moved to Alaska in 2018, and started working with Dr. Kennedy in 2019.In 2014, I took a break from dental assisting for four years and taught English in China, where I started to study Chinese. My goal is to pass the HSK 5 in the Chinese Language Proficiency Scales for Speakers of Other Languages. My other interests include outdoor adventures and CrossFit.

I have been in the dental field since 1996 where I started with sterilization and other office duties. I then went on to be trained as a dental assistant working in the same practice for over 20 years. In 2018 I was happy to accept a position with Dr. Kennedy’s great team. I enjoy traveling, camping and fishing with my husband and grown children, but enjoy spending time with my two beautiful granddaughters most of all.

I have worked in the dental field of over 30 years. When my previous dentist retired, I was fortunate enough to land a position with Dr. Kennedy. I thoroughly enjoy working with Dr. Kennedy and our wonderful patients. I am so impressed with Dr. Kennedy’s quality of dentistry and patient care. One of the things I love about our office is that we have a great team that works well together and is focused, with the patient’s best interest at heart. I really enjoy the monthly trip we make to Utqiagvik (Barrow).
